Liverpool FC Signs Dominik Szoboszlai, Assigns Him Jersey Number 8

The Hungarian Midfielder Joins the Reds

Liverpool Football Club has announced the signing of Hungarian international midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. The 22-year-old joins the Reds from RB Leipzig, where he has spent the past three seasons. Szoboszlai has been assigned the No. 8 shirt, previously worn by Naby Keita and Steven Gerrard.

A Versatile Midfielder

Szoboszlai is a versatile midfielder who can play in a variety of positions across the midfield. He is known for his excellent passing ability, vision, and goalscoring threat. In his three seasons with Leipzig, he scored 25 goals and provided 24 assists in 129 appearances.

Strengthening the Squad

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp welcomed the signing of Szoboszlai, saying: "We are very pleased to have Dominik join our team. He is a young and talented player with a lot of potential.
